100% Office Role Technical Director

Job Description & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will proactively work with the design team and provide technical support, and deal with pricing and contract matters from tender stage to build stage to ensure each project is deliverable within the allotted client budget and programme. We are seeking a qualified professional who will be passionate and engaging in their approach, promote positive cultures and behaviours and commercially manage projects to the highest standard. You will be focusing on continuous improvement and meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations. Your main responsibilities will include: Pricing tenders in line with project brief, building parameters and submitted designs Ensuring produced designs are accurate, technically correct, deliverable, and fully costed Presenting costs to clients Pre-contract programming and compliance with building, planning, and building control regulations You will be able to demonstrate 5+ years’ experience in a commercial pre-contract role, ideally in a design and build environment and/or you will be relevant degree qualified (BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent).
