If you're interested in changing the way we approach medical safety, this is the place to be! The Job As a system architect, you will lead new product development within R&D. Under your guidance, new product ideas will be taken from concepting through development, verification, serial production, and to final product launch. You are responsible for the overall design and architecture of the new product. You also ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Besides working with all sections within the R&D department, you will cooperate with marketing, sales, operations, and regulatory departments to ensure that the technical aspects of our new products are world-class. The role involves driving innovation projects from an R&D technical standpoint, but you must also understand the business as well as the needs and pain points of our customers. This requires you to participate in user and customer research traveling on-site as part of your job. Who are you We believe you are analytical and have outstanding problem-solving skills. You can quickly grasp and deconstruct complex problems and opportunities. To succeed as a system architect, you must work independently, plan, drive, and follow up on tasks related to product development and project management. You excel in interpersonal communication and can motivate and lead cross-functional teams towards an ever-moving target. You hold a technical degree, likely a Master's or PhD, and have relevant work experience. A business-technology mindset is important for understanding how and what to prioritize while driving our new product development. A solid understanding of electronics, firmware, and software will be important in your communication with the project team of experts. Regarding recruitment process contact recruiter. Qualifications A master’s degree or PhD in product development, physics, engineering, computer science, information technology, or similar. At least five years of experience with product development and innovation. Experience from products with electronics, mechanics, and embedded software. Has been part of taking business-to-business products to market. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with X-ray technology or the MedTech industry is a merit but not a requirement. Fluent in Swedish and English is a requirement.
