Working within the Cyber Security Directory Services Team, a Senior Security Engineer is needed to proactively prevent and resolve issues relating to administrative accounts and security groups used to assign access to resources. Role summary:

You will be dealing with audit findings from both internal and external parties, providing proof of controls where required and implementing controls to meet any audit requirements. You will collaborate with other LSEG IT and infrastructure teams to help with the solutioning and remediation of any security vulnerabilities and act as gatekeeper to the Active Directory and its privileged accounts and groups ensuring that all controls are in place for the in-scope AD Domains. What you'll be doing:

Be a technical resource prepared to offer assistance to any of the in-flight workstreams. Keep relevant dashboards up to date and chase for appropriate ticket updating and closure using progress reports and liaising with PowerBi Teams. You will provide frequent status reports of all implementation tasks and maintain risks and issues for management if and as they arise. Adhere to and help shape policies and procedures, as well as implement appropriate controls and compliance monitoring to optimally deliver and safeguard information assets. Ensure changes are accurately impact assessed and implemented and are represented at Change Approval Boards. Assist with all Security related project work as well as BAU tasks as advised by Manager. Deliver security initiatives and implementations, some of which will be at weekends or unsociable hours and provide full aftercare assistance for all Admin and security group remediation implementations. Provide technical Support and guidance for all security implementations and any new operating procedures and standards for SAM team and staff. Implement changes to and support AD and associated services. Help to orchestrate efforts to embed the new Security standards and procedures to be implemented in 2025-2026 group wide. Ensuring that services offered by the Directory Services Security Team (DSST) are organised and run to promote the highest levels of customer care for all customers. What you'll bring:

Very good Active Directory Knowledge (8 years minimum) in an Enterprise environment – Hierarchy / management group design, deployment, configuration and BAU support. Experience with all aspects of AD user and group Management. Be able to use the AD tools to advanced level. Must be excellent liaising with Service line owners and customers. Experience working in an Enterprise environment with strong change control practices. Solid grasp of Windows Server Technologies e.g. Service accounts and policies restricting their use through Group membership and GPO. PowerBI & PowerApps. Experience of Service Now as the primary ITSM tool. Experience working with PAM products such as Beyond Trust. Understand existing sophisticated environment and navigate to a successful implementation of products. Experience working with Advanced Excel using Pivot tables etc. Be able to communicate successfully, particularly with issues that are more sophisticated with other customers and teams, referring when vital. Use your developed interpersonal skills so others can understand, and have the ability to recognise when to refer issues appropriately. Ability to develop, test, implement and document solutions to a very high standard. Be an excellent investigator and solve complex problems with an ability to locate application owners and collaborate closely. You will have the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation and train/hand-off design and implementation work. What you’ll get in return:
