The Company: A well-known distributor, looking for a Branch Manager selling Bearings, Power Transmission, Fluid Power, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Process Equipment & General MRO consumables. They have a nationwide network of branches with opportunities to progress and grow within the company. Full product training will be offered. Benefits of the Branch Manager: £40k-£45k basic salary 5%-10% bonus OTE Car Laptop Mobile Pension The Role of the Branch Manager: As the Branch Manager, you will manage the branch's day-to-day operations, overseeing 2 external sales representatives, 2 internal sales representatives, and 2 van drivers. Your responsibilities will include selling the full core product range, managing a branch turnover of circa £1.5-£2 million, and selling mainly to MRO end users and some OEMs across various industries including Wind, F&B, Saw Mills, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Marine, Paper, Pulp, and Docks. You will assist at the trade counter, ensure timely quotes and deliveries, and motivate the team to optimize performance. This role will primarily be internal, with occasional client visits averaging one day per week. The Ideal Person for the Branch Manager: Qualifications or time served in a relevant field. Ideally, a background in one or more of the core products including Bearings, Power Transmission products, Fluid Power, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Process Equipment & General MRO consumables. An understanding of mechanical products is essential. Experience in Branch Management, Assistant Branch Management, Sales, or Internal Sales is preferred. Ideally from a distribution and MRO background. Must be a team player, hard worker, with a strong personality, motivational, and self-motivated.
