JOB PURPOSE
To support within the Key Functions of Operational Delivery, managing a bulk transfer site, managing 3 drivers with the delivery of LPG. Ensuring the safe running and effective management of the site. Ensuring we meet the deliveries focused on our domestic and commercial customers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver excellent service to customers, in line with requirements and business strategy.
Effectively managing the sites in accordance with business and legislative requirements.
Managing safety in accordance with Safety Management Systems to meet compliance driving a safety culture.
Adhering to transport compliance, including vehicle maintenance, drivers hour and tachograph regulations in addition to working time directive regulations.
Managing compliance of company processes and procedures relating to sales, stocks, financial controls within the operating system (CODAS).
JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS
Transport Management knowledge
People Management within KPI’s and SLA’s
Safety Management
Driving Experience within HGV (Class 1 preferred, but Class 2 essential)
CPC
Computer literacy (Excel focused)
