Position: Regulatory Reporting Analyst Reporting to: Head of Regulatory Reporting Department: Finance & Treasury Location: London/Hybrid Overview: Our client, a leading financial institution based in London, is currently seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely regulatory submissions to BoE/PRA, encompassing CoRep, FinRep, and statistical returns. Additionally, they will actively contribute to various projects focusing on business and IT changes, as well as the implementation of new regulations and process enhancements. Responsibilities: Collaborate within a team of professionals, actively engaging in regulatory reporting and change projects. Generate monthly and quarterly regulatory reports accurately and within designated timelines. Develop monthly internal Management Information (MI) for ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee). Evaluate, establish, and uphold controls related to regulatory reporting, including data reconciliations, cross-checks, variance analysis, and investigations. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of regulatory and MI data feeds, financial information, and other inputs. Streamline processes for efficiency. Support the implementation of a new regulatory reporting system to enhance automation. Assist in the execution of new business/product changes and upcoming regulatory modifications. Enhance understanding of capital and liquidity reporting requirements across the organization, providing regulatory support to other functions as needed. Provide ad-hoc support to the wider finance and treasury team. Requirements: Qualified or part-qualified accountant preferred. Financial services experience within banking or building societies. Proficient experience in regulatory reporting, covering COREP, FINREP, PRA, and statistical returns. Knowledge of liquidity, capital, and credit risk is advantageous. Experience with the implementation of regulatory reporting and Treasury Management Systems is desirable. Competencies: Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficient in Excel and MI reporting. Effective communication skills and stakeholder management. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
