We are excited to be working with a forward thinking, established business based in East Birmingham. This company pride themselves on delivering exceptional service to their valued existing and ever expanding customer base. They are now seeking a motivated, accurate and team orientated Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their in-house team. This role will see you overseeing two members of the Accounts Payable team, managing workload and conducting 1-2-1's. In this role, you will be overseeing the Accounts Payable function, getting involved with a range of tasks and upcoming projects.

This position comes with an annual salary of up to £28,000.

Duties Include:

Leading the Accounts Payable team and managing workflow. Ensuring invoices are processed in an accurate and timely manner. Negotiating contracts. Communicating with suppliers, building relationships and resolving invoice or payment queries. Supplier account reconciliations. Assisting with month end processes. Providing payment forecasts to assist with cash flow forecasting. Creating detailed reports for management. Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance teams. Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes: Minimum of two years previous experience in an Accounts Payable role. Previous experience managing or overseeing members of your team. Good knowledge of Excel and the ability to manipulate and analyse data. Confident, accurate, reliable and able to hit the ground running. Good communication skills both internally and externally and able to investigate and resolve queries. Organised and able to prioritise yours and your team's workload.
