This is a challenging, demanding, and exciting role for a qualified accountant with ambitions of directorship, profit sharing, or succession within a relatively short time frame.
This role includes detailed accountancy and tax work, plus interaction with prospective and existing clients.
You will be working alongside the Director to provide a high level of service to clients and will assist in growing the practice and driving it forwards in a digital manner.
Duties Personal tax, VAT returns, tax planning, management accounts, statutory accounts preparation, and corporation tax Oversee and mentor junior team members Review and finalise work Responsible for managing workflow and deadlines Prepare financial statements and reports for clients Conduct client meetings Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the practice Onboard clients which includes digital training Skills
Fully qualified ACA / CTA / ACCA Substantial experience of working within accounting practice All-round competence working in a digital environment Ability to utilise accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, and Dext to manage financial data efficiently Strong commercial awareness and able to spot opportunities Ability to provide mentoring and guidance to junior accountants Ability to work independently Confident developing and maintaining client relationships Interpret and explain financial data to clients What you'll get in return
