Position:

Property Dispute Resolution Lawyer

Location:

Yeovil

Type:

Permanent

Working Hours:

9:00 am - 5:15 pm, Monday-Friday (Flexibility available)

Salary:

£45,000.00 - £60,000.00

Responsibilities:

Taking instruction and advising clients in all manner of property disputes.

Drafting statements of case, witness statements, briefs to counsel and various other legal documents.

Advising clients on and conducting matters in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Networking and business development.

Advocacy (optional).

Types of cases include:

Residential landlord and tenant including possessions, disrepair, deposit disputes and mortgage possessions.

Commercial landlord and tenant including dilapidations, forfeiture and lease renewals.

Service charge disputes.

Boundary, accessibility and land disputes.

Rights of way.

Rights to light.

Adverse possession.

Requirements:

Experience within any of the above areas.

2 years PQE.

Client-focused and have strong client handling skills.

Be able to instil client confidence.

Good negotiating skills.

Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

Can-do attitude.

Flexibility and ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Show a tenacity and determination to accomplish tasks within deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
