Providing a high level of legal advice and assistance, working both independently, with minimal supervision and as a member of the team. Maintaining existing relations with the firm’s clients and assisting in developing new relationships with third-party referrers. Managing employment matters, with a particular focus on but not limited to: Drafting, including contracts and handbooks. Advising on HR matters including disciplinary and grievance. Employment litigation including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and restrictive covenants. TUPE, redundancy, and reorganisation including consultation processes, risk areas, and practicalities. Settlement agreements. Representing and liaising with both employers and employees. Working closely with other Departments on joint projects. Participating in the growth and future development of the department, assisting in building the client base and marketing the Firm’s services. You will be a qualified solicitor (UK qualified) offering no less than 2 PQE (however, those offering less with strong technical ability who have operated within a paralegal or executive role prior to qualification will also be strongly considered).
