This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing and evolving, entrepreneurial division of a global FMCG employer of choice, looking for a talented artwork project manager. The successful candidate will enjoy working collaboratively within a fast paced environment, managing artwork projects across a number of categories and many well-known consumer brands. You will manage the design process from concept to print, liaising with external design agencies and multiple internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the projects. You will be flexible with the changing needs of the business and a confident decision maker, communicator and multi-tasker. Prior experience with packaging artwork/design agencies will be an advantage but not essential. Attention to detail is a necessity. Responsibilities: *To be the key point of contact for new design ideas *Gather specifications needed for the execution of packaging artworks *Briefing external artwork agencies *Review and manage relationship with external artwork agencies *Own the full life- cycle of packaging artwork creation and approval - be responsible for the full process in audits (internal/external) *Coordinate photography *Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to coordinate the whole process from concept to print- ready artwork *Monitor new market trends in packaging and design innovation *Attend print runs where required to ensure quality levels are met *To independently take responsibility for ensuring all packaging meets brand guidelines and has lead agency and global brand leader approval *Manage origination and artwork budget *Creating mock artwork designs for presentations *Support the distributors with sales requests such as merchandising samples Marketing responsibilities: *Review and approve trade and consumer press releases *Briefing trade press adverts to design agency *Support the Marketing Manager on campaign activations *Develop POS strategy with sales team and coordinate POS needed from design to approval *Manage the POS budget This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished individual looking for their next move.
