Accountancy & Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading North East firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an ambitious Personal Tax Assistant / Personal Tax Semi Senior to join the team in their Durham office.
As a Personal Tax Assistant / Personal Tax Semi Senior, your role will involve working with a wide variety of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors, and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.
The ideal candidate may be ATT Part Qualified or Fully Qualified and will have experience in Personal Tax work, either from a solely tax-focused role or from a mixed accounts and tax position.
Working within this established firm in Durham, there will be ample scope for career development within a supportive and cohesive working environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Liaise directly with a broad range of clients
Preparation of personal tax computations and returns
Preparation of small rental and sole trader accounts
Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Skills:
ATT Qualified or Part Qualified
Personal Tax compliance experience within a practice environment
