Overview: This privately-owned civil engineering and groundworks company is experiencing stable growth. As subcontractors to regional and national housebuilders including Bovis and Persimmon Homes, their projects range from £5-30m. With a strong order book already secured, they are expanding into new regions and are looking for a Technical Director to join their forward-thinking team.

Responsibilities: Providing strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering team. Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, and profitably. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff. Quality Assurance – maintaining the highest technical standards, ensuring all engineering designs meet safety, environmental, and sustainability requirements. Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the company. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Must Haves: Experience in groundworks, earthworks, and civil engineering.
