We are looking for several Installation Engineers with good practical hands-on engineering skill and an openness to travel to join an expanding engineering business, ready to further their growth plans! This role will be based on the road for around 50% of the time and will frequently involve some nights away from home. You will be responsible for all aspects of the integration of the system into a variety of environments. This will include understanding customer requirements, generating appropriate solutions whilst on site, providing hands-on support during installation, and verification and validation processes before sign off. Full training will be given on the system prior to visiting clients on site. Your Role and Responsibilities:

Preparing all installation equipment materials and tools prior to installation date Planning installation timeline and escalation points Preparing all maintenance equipment materials and tools prior to maintenance date Planning maintenance timelines and escalation points Completing the required documentation and reports relating to jobs carried out Creating site survey reports and site visit reports, and ensuring these are circulated to customers both internally and externally Ensuring that a full log is kept of all documentation in line with GDPR and project requirements Building a library of SOP’s for certain systems to be circulated internally Contributing to team projects and system builds Supporting the building and testing of system equipment Your Skills and Abilities:

An engineering qualification and/or apprenticeship (mechanical, electrical or electronic) A natural flair for practical work. Good with hands, lots of common sense Experience of working in a proactive and dynamic engineering environment with priorities sometimes changing quickly, and some travel planned with relatively short notice Happy with approximately 50% of time spent on the road, including some overnight stays Previous Installation experience If this role could appeal, please do apply now!
