Full-Time Qualified English Teacher - Desford
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced English Teacher to join our team in the Desford area on a full-time basis. This position will start as soon as possible on a long-term basis, with the potential to be made permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English Literature and English Language to KS3 - KS5 students. Plan, mark, and prepare engaging lessons in line with the curriculum. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to inspire and challenge students of all abilities. Work collaboratively with the department to ensure smooth continuity of teaching during absences. Complete a thorough handover with the current teacher before their leave to ensure a seamless transition.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Strong knowledge of the English curriculum from KS3 to KS5. Proven ability to engage students and deliver outstanding lessons. Experience in planning, marking, and preparing lessons independently. A commitment to high standards of teaching and student progress.
