Your new company Our client, based in South Yorkshire, requires a Tower Block Inspections Officer to perform inspections, maintenance, and admin work for £17.95 per hour PAYE or £21.06 per hour Umbrella. Your new role Your role is key to ensuring the overall quality of life of residents, conducting daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks. This will include duties such as legionella control, emergency light testing, and fire door checks. You will work on various projects dealing with issues/complaints from residents, day-to-day checks, and admin. This role is due to begin immediately and is currently set to run until the end of March 2024 with 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. What you'll need to succeed Our client is looking for someone from a trades background, such as a multi-skilled tradesperson or joiner, looking to move into a compliance-based/inspections type role. It is beneficial if you have experience working within the public sector or social housing. This is also a public-facing role, so you must be confident in liaising with tenants and handling customer service issues when required. There will be an admin aspect of the role, so a basic understanding of IT systems such as Word & Excel will be essential. You must have your own transport which is insured for business use. What you'll get in return Immediate employment in a varied and interesting role. You will be provided with a fuel allowance of 45p per mile to use during site visits in work hours, as well as a full IT system set up. You will also receive on-site training to achieve the client's standards, such as fire door inspections training. Weekly pay.
