A top-tier global law firm is seeking an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to support their Tax group during an exciting period of growth. The role-holder will provide strategic support with the planning and delivery of BD initiatives for this core group and play a vital role in shaping the firm’s success.
The Responsibilities:
Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers to develop and execute strategic BD initiatives.
Focus on key client relationships and client targeting programs, including identifying cross-selling opportunities within the group and the wider firm.
Collaborate with international teams to deliver internal strategy events and client conferences.
Support the planning and delivery of targeted marketing campaigns and events to raise the group’s profile and win new business.
Work closely with the digital marketing team to create and manage content for digital channels.
Lead on Tax pitches, advising on pitch strategy, preparing pitch documents, managing rehearsals for new business pitches, and performing pitch debriefs.
Identify opportunities to network and raise lawyers’ profiles with clients and prospects.
The Candidate:
Previous experience working within a legal/professional services environment.
Manager level experience, ideally with experience of working internationally.
Comprehensive understanding of marketing & BD processes including new business processes, digital marketing, CRM, and emerging technologies.
Strong consultative listening skills to negotiate, persuade, and manage stakeholders.
