Job Purpose RWS is recruiting a Head of Group Reporting reporting into the Group Financial Controller. The role requires you to take on overall responsibility for managing and leading the group external financial reporting function and ensure all statutory and non-statutory reporting deadlines are met. You will work with the Group Controllership team to ensure technical accounting compliance to meet plc board, audit committee and external audit requirements. You will also manage the presentation of all financial information in the Annual Report and manage the audit process. Job Overview Key Responsibilities Manage the Group Reporting team to ensure all reporting requirements are met including:

ownership of the consolidation process and production of monthly management accounts the accurate and timely completion of external financial reporting (including the Group Annual Report, full year RNS and interim RNS) oversee the production of subsidiary Statutory Accounts for all legal entities responsible for the planning and execution of the annual and interim audit timetables and management of the auditors to ensure a smooth and timely process supporting the Group Financial Controller in preparing papers for the Board and Audit Committee

Responsible for the Group's technical accounting considerations including:

ownership of the Groups' policies and procedures responsible for the implementation of changes to IFRS across the Group preparation and approval co-ordination of proposed new accounting policies review and preparation of the going concern, investment appraisal and goodwill models management of the share-based payment calculations related to various SAYE and share option schemes responsible for the correct reporting of intangible assets, both acquired and internally developed capitalised expenditure technical lead for acquisition accounting and support in the integration of newly acquired businesses and the impact on reporting

Be involved in project work including but not limited to:

Key member of the EPM Implementation Project Team Support project on legal structure rationalisation and simplification Support the transformation team to ensure successful implementation of the ERP system into the Group reporting requirements

Skills & Experience 10+ years' experience in a Group Finance team of a multinational FTSE / listed company Expert knowledge of consolidation processes Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or global equivalent) Good interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach, accustomed to working towards tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality of work Experience with different finance systems Strong English language skills Strong analytical mindset with a "hands on/ can do" attitude Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
