This is an exciting time to join the University. In July 2023 we launched our new Strategy –
Wielding Brunel’s World-class Difference
– which aims to propel Brunel to new heights and establish us as a world-leading technical University and we are on a positive trajectory. In the past two years we have climbed more than 70 places over the 2024 and 2025 QS League Table surveys, our National Student Survey results and key research metrics.
We are seeking a talented and visionary leader to become the Executive Dean of the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (CHMLS). This is a critical leadership role at the University. The opportunity to lead CHMLS is a wonderful opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the College with the potential – through research, education and partnerships – to have a significant impact on West London and national on the medicine health and life sciences landscape at a time of change in the NHS.
An experienced leader in a relevant academic discipline, we are seeking someone excited by the challenge of leading CHMLS at this exciting time, with a focus on continuing to grow our research base, improving student experience, and helping to bring the best out of our exceptional community of staff and students. Comfortable working at Board level as a member of Brunel’s executive, you will provide strategic leadership of all aspects of the College across education, research and staffing, and play a critical role in the delivery of our new Strategy.
