Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Electrical Engineering to lead our technical team. This pivotal role focuses on driving technical excellence, innovation, and strategic direction in the design and development of our electrical systems and solutions. The Role As the Head of Electrical Engineering at Enspec, you will: Technical Leadership:

Lead the electrical engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems, ensuring innovative and practical applications that meet industry and client standards. Strategic Direction:

Develop and execute the technical strategy for the electrical engineering department, aligning with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Project Oversight:

Oversee all technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Provide strategic input and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Innovation and Improvement:

Foster a culture of continuous innovation and improvement, integrating the latest technological advancements and methodologies in electrical engineering. Compliance and Standards:

Ensure all projects and systems adhere to relevant national and international specifications, standards, and regulations, particularly in the renewable sector. Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes, ensuring all products and systems meet stringent quality and safety standards, including ISO certifications. Testing and Validation:

Oversee thorough testing and validation processes for all electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet technical and safety requirements. Technical Problem-Solving:

Lead the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, leveraging advanced problem-solving skills to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Documentation and Reporting:

Ensure detailed technical documentation is prepared and maintained, including design specifications, test protocols, and user manuals. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management. Team Development:

Mentor and develop the electrical engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and professional growth. Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems and solutions. Stakeholder Engagement:

Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term partnerships. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s or higher is preferred. Significant hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and development of electrical systems, with experience in a leadership role. Extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and related industries. Deep understanding of electrical standards and regulations, both national and international. Proven track record of technical innovation and practical application in electrical engineering. Proficient in using advanced electrical engineering software and tools for design and analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges. Strong project management skills with experience leading and overseeing multiple technical projects. High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in technical documentation and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative technical team. Preferences Experience with advanced simulation tools and modeling software. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineering talent. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering.
