Scope As a Vice President in our Financial Restructuring Group, you will lead execution on a variety of transactions, including debtor- and creditor-side restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions. The group offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that provide exposure to a wide variety of financial advisory and investment banking products and industries. These services include: Advising companies and stakeholders in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings Raising debt and equity financing Providing distressed M&A advisory services Advising in special situations with elements of distressed investing Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients Responsibilities You will lead the execution on a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitions Prepare, analyze and help explain historical and projected financial information Coordinate and perform business due diligence, lead and execute M&A transactions Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations Value companies and businesses Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors Requirement Qualifications Degree qualified 7-11 years’ experience in Restructuring or Leveraged Finance Proven deal execution experience in Financial Restructuring, Leveraged Finance or M&A Demonstrable experience in leading discussions with senior client executives and target management Develop and review financial models including database systems Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously Strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multitask Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to grow our business and act entrepreneurially Motivated, creative, outgoing and possess strong skills in financial analysis Strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory Keen analytical abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Assist in initiating and extending group marketing and client development efforts Develop professional network and relationships with firm, client and target professionals Management skills in supervising and training staff We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
