Head of Finance - Horsham
We are looking for a new Head of Finance to join our clients based in Horsham. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s financial strategy, with a focus on risk mitigation, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and identifying growth opportunities. This role ensures optimal use of capital and resources by supervising all financial tasks across the group, delivering high-level financial reporting, and consolidating budgets. The position also oversees the implementation of sound cash flow management processes and seeks ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs throughout the business. Responsibilities: Assist the wider team and business with your knowledge on an ad hoc basis where business needs require. Ensure awareness and compliance of regulatory responsibilities and ensuring that the consumer outcomes are at the core of our focus in all work the company does. Maintain continual professional development and skills. Develop the financial strategy for the Company, including risk mitigation plans and opportunity forecasting. Supervise all financial tasks of the Group and ensure they use capital and resources beneficially. Provide comprehensive financial reporting and in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making at the highest level. Carry out regular budget consolidation. Implement a sound cash flow management process. Seek efficiencies, improvements, and opportunities to reduce costs across the business. Oversee and maintain accurate financial processes and systems for all financial transactions within the Group including revenue processing. Ensure the Group meets the financial requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority at all times and complies with all applicable Financial Conduct Authority rules and requirements. Produce financial management information on a regular and timely basis to include monthly management accounts with analysis of trends, comparisons against budget, and commentary on finance strategy. Skills / Qualifications: Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Superior mathematical skills Experience: Proven experience as a Head of Finance or similar role. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP). An analytical mind with a strategic ability. Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
