Grad +2 Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Graduate Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a consultancy in London, United Kingdom. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Design firm, you will be responsible for designing infrastructure projects under the supervision of a Senior Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil engineering and be passionate about learning and developing towards chartership. Responsibilities: Prepare design calculations, drawings, and reports under the supervision of the Senior Engineer. Develop knowledge of Codes and standards such as Highways, Water Industry, and Drainage Act. Aid project design through the full lifecycle of any Civil Infrastructure projects. Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data necessary for project design and planning. Attend meetings with clients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, surveyors, and other engineers to ensure project coordination and integration. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development to secure new business opportunities. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance project delivery and quality. Maintain your professional Development IPD or CPD expectations. Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree (BSc or BEng) in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. One year of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and project management. Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD and desirable Civil 3D, Microdrainage / Info Drainage PDS and other design tools. Strong understanding of regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines related to infrastructure design and construction. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
