Nursery Room Leader , with previous experience in working in any room as a Leader. This setting is based in the SL postcode area and are looking for the candidate to work Monday to Friday, all year round, 40 hours a week, covering 8am until 6pm. Situated close to local bus routes and local train station, ideal for someone travelling via public transport. Free car parking for drivers. Salary is

Benefits include: Competitive salary for the area Company Pension 28 days holiday (including BH days); as well as shutdown at Christmas Free uniform given Central location ideal for public transport links Free car parking for drivers Full time permanent position, all year round The Candidate for Nursery Room Leader must have: NNEB or a full and relevant Early Education and Childcare (e.g. NVQ/Diploma/BTEC) Level 3 or higher Toddler Room Leader experience in a Nursery/Early Years setting essential Solid knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding and Health and Safety Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Liaise with and develop good relationships with parents and staff The role responsibilities for the Nursery Room Leader include: Act as Room Leader and implement the EYFS curriculum through the Montessori approach. Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate children’s records. Assume deputy responsibilities in the absence of the deputy manager if required to do so. Support, mentor and supervise room staff in their day-to-day duties and monitor their paperwork including planning and learning journeys on a regular basis. Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children. Remain up to date with current developments in childcare and education policies and practices.
