About the Role: As a Structural Engineer, you’ll perform essential analysis and design work on residential and commercial buildings. You’ll interact closely with project architects, designers, and engineers to develop construction documents and site plans, analyze structural requirements, and design frameworks using materials such as aluminum, steel, wood, concrete, and masonry. Our projects are dynamic and varied, so your day might include anything from estimating structural designs to preparing technical reports, field investigations, site inspections, and quality control reviews. With minimal supervision, you’ll have the autonomy to meet deadlines, stay within budgets, and ensure excellence in every project. What You’ll Do: Compile construction documents, conduct site investigations, and take field measurements Analyze and design structures using building codes and reference materials Prepare reports, letters, and professional documentation Produce sections, details, and specifications with Revit and create structural sketches Estimate and plan for elements like columns, footings, and walls Coordinate with project teams across disciplines for comprehensive project execution Guide junior engineers and provide technical oversight Ensure quality control of design calculations and project deliverables Travel occasionally to project sites and meetings Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 5+ years of experience in structural engineering and building design EIT Certification Desired Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering P.E. professional licensure Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, CWC Woodwork, ENERCALC, Tekla, Tedds, RAM, and RISA 3D Familiarity with industry standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, Building Code) Strong troubleshooting skills and MS Office proficiency Bonuses & Incentives: We believe in recognizing and rewarding hard work.
