The overseeing, installing and quality control of all project equipment including displays, equipment racks, and local equipment. Read, understand, and follow the schematics, construction drawings and in-house software programs, including feedback on the design to allow “as-built” information to be corrected. Understand the termination, programming and commissioning of Crestron and Lutron lighting systems. Quality control of the completion of any of our lighting, AV, IT, Automation and security systems to ensure they are configured, programmed and working correctly. Overall running of the installation engineering on a project, taking responsibility for the day-to-day tasks, labour requirements and deadline management, using various tools for task management. Able to work alongside design and programming teams at the start and end of a project, liaising with on-site clients, representatives and contractors. Managing the varying levels of installation engineers working on the project. Quality control of the work being done by the Installation and Lead Installation engineers with the ability to encourage and teach those within the team. Maintaining accurate up to date records of the onsite overall project progress. Being a technical and installation support for the installation and aftersales teams including periodic on-duty out of hours service rota. Ability to work away from home on projects around the UK and sometimes overseas. Being involved in Crestron, IT and 3rd party interfaces within the project, either assisting with or implementing related works.
