Our client is seeking a Chartered or near-Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to join their established team of professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a mix of new and replacement projects, working on exciting refurbishment and basement works primarily in London. You will be stepping into a role where you can take on leadership responsibilities, providing guidance to junior engineers while maintaining project autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead structural engineering projects with autonomy. Manage and collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring designs are efficient and meet project specifications. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers, assisting with their development and project delivery. Work on a diverse range of projects, predominantly involving refurbishments and basement works in the London area. Use industry-leading software including Tekla, Robot, and AutoDesk to deliver accurate designs and solutions. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Ideal Candidate:
Chartered or near-chartered structural engineer with significant experience in structural design and project leadership. At least 6 years' post graduate experience within a London consultancy. A proven track record of leading projects and teams, with the ability to work with autonomy. Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Additional Benefits:
Competitive salary of £50k-£55k DOE Hybrid working model: 2 days a week from home, with office attendance required on Thursdays.
