The famous Art Deco Senate House! This well-known Grade II* listed building is based in the heart of Bloomsbury, London, where you will spend half of your working week with the other half working from the comfort of your own home.
You will be working in unity with the Estates team, whilst reporting into the Director of Estates. You will strategically analyse and link data with the Engineering, Capital Projects, and Sustainability departments.
The University has a £6 million annual energy spend and an aspirational target to achieve zero carbon by 2036, meaning you will act as an in-house expert managing the University’s energy and utilities related matters across their large, diverse property portfolio.
Experience of undertaking day-to-day energy management activities across utilities contracts including water, electricity, gas, and district heating is essential for this role, as well as extensive technical knowledge of energy and carbon management and reduction.
If you’re highly numerate with great interpersonal and time management skills, this role is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and knowledge across a broad range of energy and utilities areas and support the implementation of projects.
