Senior Sales Manager (Public Sector Sustainability), London – Hybrid Working. Up to £50k + Commission
We're looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager who has a passion for sustainability. This clean-tech business is looking for a passionate Senior Sales Manager who has a proven track record of selling to public sector clients, internationally.
If you’re a Senior Sales Manager with experience within the world of sustainability and the public sector, this is the role for you.
As Senior Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
Planning and leading presentations for public sector clients
Representing this amazing business at high profile events related to the energy harvesting sector, renewable energy, sustainability, and innovation across the globe
Identifying sales leads for generating new business relationships by setting up client and contact meetings
Conducting structured cold calling and general enquiry responses - actively generating and developing business leads
Experience of RFPs (Response for Proposals)
Developing and maintaining existing contacts and client relationships, working with sub-contractors and agents, across 5 continents simultaneously in some occasions
Communicating progress to other team leaders
As Senior Sales Manager, you’ll also have the following:
Highly motivated, relevant experience working with public sector organisations would be an advantage
Personal initiative and outstanding communication skills are a necessity
Highly customer focused and results driven
Exceptional drive, creativity, presentational and interpersonal skills
Ability to hit the ground running and forge relationships quickly
Excited about technology and able to pick up new concepts quickly
Interest in innovative renewable technologies is encouraged
Must be a confident communicator with excellent public speaking skills
