About the role Being in a scale-up, no two days will ever be the same, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Present the company to potential clients predominantly through telephone contact

Be responsible for your own lead generation and convert inbound enquiries

Develop new business relationships with potential clients by offering our products via superior customer service

Achieve productivity and sales budget KPIs set out by the Company

Develop an understanding of customers' requirements to offer a client-focused service

Adhere to FCA conduct rules and core responsibilities relating to sales function and the roles

Maintain and manage a pipeline and ensure administration is completed on internal systems to aid the fair treatment of customers

Create and be accountable for all client quotes and proposals, following finance procedures through the whole process

Understand your client’s requirements and price transactions accordingly

Perform your role with a positive and constructive attitude within the team environment

Ensure all compliance regulation and legislation is adhered to where relevant

Contributing to the culture and development of Swoop and maintaining the reputation of the business at all times

About you

2-3 years of prior sales experience (prior sales experience gained within a financial services environment would be advantageous)

Knowledge of asset finance

Ability to work independently and proactively

High degree of self-motivation and desire to drive success

Demonstrate a commitment to achieve the highest standards

Strong IT, customer service, organization and time management skills

Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships, communicate with clients and key stakeholders

Good understanding of the products offered (loans and asset finance) and the markets that Swoop target (desired but training is provided)

Ability to negotiate effectively and influence decisions

Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, our customers and our business

Computer literacy

Analytical skills

Knowledge of financial sector

Experience of generating telephone sales leads

Salary between £30 and £45k depending on experience + uncapped commission structure
