Traffic Engineering Programme Manager
to lead the development and implementation of engineering projects focused on highway improvements. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of engineering projects through their lifecycle, from initiation to business as usual. Focus on highway improvements aimed at achieving positive outcomes in road safety, sustainability (including active travel and public transport), accessibility, carbon footprint reduction, innovation, and value for money. Utilize expertise in traffic engineering and transportation management to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Oversee the commissioning, procurement, and contract management processes for engineering schemes, ensuring compliance with regulations and budgetary constraints. Build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders and partners to support project delivery and promote collaboration. Requirements
Educated to degree level in a relevant field. Extensive experience in delivering highway engineering schemes, including leading and implementing programmes. Strong background in traffic engineering and traffic management. Demonstrated experience in commissioning, procurement, and contract management within the transportation sector. Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders and partners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
