We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, social team near Aberdeen.
This is a genuinely mixed practice, with a focus on work life balance, allowing you to enjoy the nearby mountains, sea and city. This is a full-time permanent role, normal working hours are between 0845 and 1700 over a 4 day working week, with 6.8 weeks annual leave per annum.
This particular practice are proud to offer their own out of hours service, 1:10 first on call weekends, with 2 vets on call at all times – one as primary responder, the second as additional support if required. Vets are compensated with a 4 day long-weekend after every weekend on call, as well as an additional mid rota long weekend, plus additional cash benefit per out of hours call.
They are a large team of experienced nurses, and an excellent range of up-to-date kit across all species – including equine and small animal video endoscopes, sector and linear ultrasound scanners for farm and equine work, high quality small animal ultrasound, digital x-ray (including dental and mobile for equine) and more.
