Job Description
Outstanding opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor to progress their career with a major retail business operating a number of household name brands, as In-House Legal Counsel on a 12 months fixed term contract basis. Head office is at York where free parking is available. The business is however very flexible and is happy to consider applicants looking to work some days from home. You will be covering a period of maternity and joining a stable, well established legal team which supports an interesting and diverse business. You will take responsibility for a hugely varied range of legal matters focusing predominantly on litigious matters, and strong litigation experience is key to this role. The business is looking to recruit a Solicitor with upwards of around 3 years PQE in litigation, perhaps considerably more. The ideal candidate could have experience with a reputable law firm and be looking to make their first in-house move, or may already be working in industry and looking to take on an exciting 12 months contract position.
