Location: Liverpool / Manchester
Commitment: 40 hrs per week (Flexible working) for three months starting end of January 2024
Job Purpose
The postholder will support the delivery of our short term contracts within the Liverpool / Manchester area to support the rollout of energy efficiency improvements across all housing tenures.
The postholder will carry out retrofit energy assessments to a high standard, keeping in line with our clients' requirements and with a focus on Social Value.
Key Responsibilities
To undertake retrofit assessments in accordance with PAS 2035, the specification for the energy retrofit of domestic buildings.
To identify all energy efficient measures available at each property.
Taking relevant photographs of the property during the survey and uploading them to the central data system.
Researching potential energy options suggested to ensure there are no better solutions.
Writing up a survey report using a template format provided by the company and issuing it to the client.
Following up with the client to answer any queries.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with clients.
Knowledge and Experience
Hold ECMK accreditation and be competent on Corelogic software.
Qualified as Domestic Energy Assessor and Retrofit Assessor.
Be courteous and polite.
Have a full clean driving licence and own vehicle for transport.

Person Specification
Job Title: Retrofit Assessor
Essential
Minimum of GCSE Grade C in both English and Maths
Domestic Energy Assessor and Retrofit Assessor qualification
Member of a Trustmark accredited scheme
Specialist knowledge and experience
Previous experience as a Retrofit Assessor or Coordinator
Experience of supporting and assisting individuals from vulnerable communities
Knowledge of the housing sector
Awareness of Social Value
Health and Safety awareness
Practical and Intellectual Skills
Ability to work on own initiative, planning work schedules and working time
Computer literate
Highly organised and self-motivated
Aware of lone working practices
Good inter-personal skills to ensure sound communications with clients, customers, and internal staff.
