Management Accountant
on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000.
Based in North Manchester, near motorway links, this is an onsite position.
Role Summary: The Management Accountant will play a key role in preparing, analysing, and reporting financial information to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of management accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data.
Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements Accurate and timely reporting using Group reporting tools Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on project costs and gross margins P&L reporting and monthly sales forecasts Budgeting, forecasting, and detailed cost recovery processing Managing FX forward contracts and ensuring compliance with hedge accounting policies Your Profile: Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in a Management/Cost Accountant role. Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous Education: A professional accounting qualification is desirable, but equivalent experience will also be considered Skills: Strong IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Experience with ERP systems Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team Availability: Able to start ASAP Why Apply?
