Have a minimum of 18 months’ relevant experience. Have an in depth understanding and experience of contractual and commercial processes. Have contractor-side QS experience, taking responsibility for post-contract quantity surveyor activities. Preferably have a degree or HND in a construction or quantity surveying related discipline. Preferably be a member of a relevant Professional Institution or working towards membership. Have a emerging working knowledge of NEC forms of contract. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Be client focused and able to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships. Be a self-motivated team player that demonstrates excellent judgement and decision-making skills. Be flexible, positive and engaging, with a desire to learn and develop through exposure to different types of clients and projects. Remuneration and benefits
Up to £45,000 salary (depending on experience/qualifications). Payment of professional fees. 25 days holiday entitlement, with option to buy/sell leave. Company pension scheme. Income protection, life, and personal accident insurance. 37.5 hours per week with flexible working arrangements.
