Accounts Senior , you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing client relationships, and providing technical expertise. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting junior members of the team. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and reviewing financial statements for a wide range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the key point of contact for all accounting and compliance matters. Supporting clients with tax planning and offering business advisory services where necessary. Supervising and mentoring junior members of staff, providing guidance and review of their work. Maintaining regular communication with clients, addressing any queries and ensuring deadlines are met. Keeping up to date with changes in accounting legislation and tax regulations. Working closely with partners and managers to deliver high-quality service and meet client expectations. Identifying opportunities to offer additional services to clients, enhancing their financial performance and compliance. Requirements: ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, including FRS 102 and FRS 105. Experience in preparing financial statements and management accounts. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar. Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff is highly desirable. A proactive and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
