THE JOB
Reporting directly to the FD, The role will manage a small finance team and be responsible for the production of key financial and management information.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and manage the production of the monthly management accounts, and business partnering packs Variance analysis, cashflows and accurate and timely forecasting Lead and manage the production and reporting of annual budgets, including providing any financial training and guidance to budget holders Responsible for the review of payroll costs and reporting Proactively spot opportunities for income generation, identifying key trends and issues affecting financial performance Continual improvement of relevant finance systems and processes, driving through automation and efficiencies Responsible for the finance business partnering function Lead and develop the team, mentoring and coaching to engender a collaborative forward-thinking culture and ethos THE PERSON
You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant (CCAB) with relevant experience Possessing strong relationship-building skills, and the natural ability to lead and motivate a team You will have demonstrable experience of supporting internal and external stakeholders You must have an excellent working knowledge of external and internal reporting cycles, management accounts and budget preparation and analysis, and a solid understanding of relevant legislation and accounting principles Have excellent influencing and negotiation skills, be able to think methodically whilst acting strategically Highly numerate with strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
