TPF Recruiting, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant into their growing and successful team based in Maidstone, Kent.
You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, providing them with a mixed service across accounts, tax, VAT, and bookkeeping.
Our client is recruiting because of growth, and they're looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team as they grow further. They have a relaxed working environment with a flexible approach, and they offer a good work-life balance too.
They are open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Their clients are completely mixed, across a range of sectors and sizes from sole traders, partnerships, and Ltd companies through to multi-million-pound groups.
You will be responsible for: Preparation of annual accounts and management accounts Meetings with clients Preparation of corporate tax returns Partnership returns & individual self-assessment tax returns Review and preparation of bookkeeping work, and VAT returns Overseeing the work of more junior team members and supporting them accordingly Requirements
For this Senior Accountant position in Maidstone, you will be: ACCA/ACA qualified, or qualified by experience 3+ years practice experience Experience of Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous Commutable from Mid Kent- Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge, Ashford, Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, Faversham etc. Benefits
As a Senior Accountant in Maidstone, you will be offered: £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
