Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Data Analyst for a fast-growing, international business based in Exeter. This role could be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing financial data, generating reports, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making across an international portfolio of companies. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in data management and analysis tools. Main Duties

Prepare financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making processes. Integrate finance data with other data sources to produce insights. Collaborate with the finance team and cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights on business key metrics. Analyse financial performance against benchmarks and provide variance analysis. Prepare and maintain financial performance analysis across the organisation, highlighting KPI performance. Create financial templates to support business growth. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor industry trends and economic factors that may impact the organisation's finances. Collect, organise, and analyse large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic projects and initiatives. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business growth and efficiency improvements. Work closely with the CFO to make data-driven efficiencies. Qualifications

Strong experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis. Ability to inform decision-making through data and possess excellent communication skills.
