Role Overview
As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will primarily provide accounting and tax compliance services to a diverse client base, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. Your responsibilities will include preparing statutory and management accounts, handling corporation tax compliance, and managing bookkeeping and VAT work. You will communicate directly with clients and liaise with HMRC on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Assist with basic corporation tax and personal tax returns
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Communicate with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve queries
Candidate Requirements:
AAT Qualified or nearing completion of AAT, ACA, or ACCA studies
Prior experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards
