managing the finance team and providing accurate financial and accounting for the site. Candidates are sought with experience working in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, engineering, distribution, technology or similar.
The Role
Lead and manage the finance team including payroll.
Generation of Monthly management accounts, statements, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Forecasts for group reporting.
Ensuring statutory reporting is done to a high level and on time.
Reporting of Financial and Manufacturing KPIs.
Financial modelling to highlighting business opportunities, decision impacts and risks.
Support the product pricing and quoting process.
Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health.
Monitoring spending and creating annual budgets.
Ensuring the compliance of all group accounting and control policies.
Reducing costs and implementing efficiencies to increase profit.
The Candidate
Experience working in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, distribution, engineering, etc)
Good leadership skills.
Ability to prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; strong skills in Excel required.
Good communication and team working skills.
Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Qualified to CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
