We are looking for a brand new Safer Gambling Support Analyst to join the ever-growing team!

JOB FUNCTION:

To provide analytical support to the Safer Gambling Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with Safer Gambling areas of the LCCP and embedding a Safer Gambling culture.

To provide support to the Safer Gambling Compliance Manager in relation to the following key areas:

Perform analysis and produce reports from the Compliance Backoffice data capture system.

Review and evaluation of Safer Gambling Interactions.

Identify and communicate shortfalls in Safer Gambling Interactions, age verification and incident reporting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS:

To promote awareness of Safer Gambling strategies and procedures.

Perform analysis and produce reports from the Compliance Hub for Age Verification; Self-exclusions; Customer Interactions; Incidents.

Provide quarterly statistics for The Gambling Commission.

Supporting the Safer Gambling team in reviewing and evaluating the quality of recorded interactions, age verification and incidents.

Keeping abreast of Industry Safer Gambling initiatives and changes in legislation, understanding and benchmarking of best practice with the aim of continuously raising standards and expertise. Monitoring and evaluation of Safer Gambling practices.

Provide constructive feedback to venue teams and stakeholders on the required safer gambling action points.

Attend Compliance & Risk Committee Meetings as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Comprehensive knowledge of UK Gambling Compliance, Safer Gambling and LCCP.

Ability to resource information from external sources and awareness of Safer Gambling best practices.

Knowledge of customer KYC and Due Diligence processes.

Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with attention to detail and ability to quickly review and assess information.

Demonstrated experience presenting findings and delivering feedback.

Proven experience and knowledge in utilising excel.

Strong Communication skills – verbally and written. A good understanding of operational areas of a gambling business.

Excellent interpersonal skills with proven presentation skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently. Good time management skills and the ability to efficiently achieve deadlines.

Good attention to detail.

RESPONSIBLE GAMING

Responsible for understanding and ensuring our venues are meeting our commitment to the SR Code 3.4.1. Understands and explain how we meet the three licensing objectives.

Licensing Objectives:

(a) preventing gambling from being a source of crime or disorder, being associated with crime or disorder or being used to support crime,

(b) ensuring that gambling is conducted in a fair and open way, and

(c) protecting children and other vulnerable persons from being harmed or exploited by gambling.

To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures.

Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation.

To actively participate and support the annual National Responsible Gambling Week.

To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.
