We are supporting a company based on the outskirts of Colchester with recruiting for a full time, permanent Management Accountant. The hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4pm. It is fully office based with free parking and the salary is £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
Duties will include: Reconciliation, submission and payment of VAT, tax & levy returns Daily Bank Reconciliations Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of statutory accounts and audit schedules Producing financial statements including profit and loss accounts, monthly management accounts and reconciliations Preparation and reconciliation of fixed asset registers
To be successful you must be a Qualified Accountant with 2 years of working experience post qualifications, preferably with knowledge of Sage 200.
You must be able to work under pressure while always looking for continuous improvements.
You will be playing an essential role within the company's accounting department so you must be self-driven and motivated. Benefits and company details will be given upon application.
