Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are exclusively partnering with a leading group based in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire to recruit a driven and dynamic Junior Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will support in month-end and year-end processes, along with financial analysis and reporting, joining at an exciting time within the group due to rapid growth and development. The position will offer study support for ACCA/CIMA and progression opportunities where you can really add value in a close-knit finance team. Your new role Your key duties will involve month-end reconciliations, processing/preparing journals, cashflow updating, along with weekly reporting. You will be involved in income reporting, stock analysis, sales projects reporting, balance sheet reviews, along with accruals/prepayments. You will contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for management information, along with cost reconciliations and reviews. You will support the billing team and wider finance team when needed at peak and busy periods, with invoicing for contracts, invoice amendments and ad-hoc finance duties. Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end processes, along with projects as the business grows further. Your duties will develop as you grow within the organization allowing the opportunity for career progression. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this progressive Junior Management Accountant role, you will need experience in a similar position, ideally AAT qualified studying towards CIMA/ACCA, with strong communication skills to build relationships at all levels internally and externally. You will have key MS excel skills (pivots/lookups), comfortable with financial systems, and be willing to learn and develop in your finance career. Strong numerical skills, key attention to detail with the ability to manage workloads to meet time-constrained deadlines. You will have a hands-on, proactive and analytical working approach, a team player who can support others within the business. What you'll get in return This permanent Junior Management Accountant role is offering a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, based in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire with a study package for ACCA/CIMA/AAT and up to 10 % annual bonus.
