Pontypridd Salary: £25k to £35k p.r. Permanent Tax Manager / Adviser Our client, a well established accountancy practice, is looking for an experienced Tax Manager / Adviser to join their busy tax department three days a week. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of personal tax clients including sole traders, partnerships and company directors. Ideally this will be an office based role although one day a week working from home will be considered. Duties: Preparation of tax returns using Iris Tax & Accounting software Advise clients of tax liabilities, payment deadlines and provide general tax advice during the year Prepare P11Ds Prepare Capital Gains Tax Returns for property sales and other capital gains Liaise with HMRC regarding clients’ tax affairs Contacting and liaising with clients to obtain information and complete tax returns Requirements: Previous accounts practice experience essential Strong IT skills including Word and Excel Knowledge of IRIS would be advantageous although training will be given if necessary Organised with good communication skills Able to work to strict deadlines This could be a full time role if the candidate is capable of taking on other accounting duties.
