Your new role The post-holder will be expected to manage the interests of the company in developing, negotiating, and executing contracts and agreements as well as seeking to protect the company’s Intellectual Property interests. The post-holder will also be required to provide advice to senior management and staff.
Key duties include: Providing clear, accurate, and authoritative legal advice on all aspects of legal and associated corporate governance matters (to include data protection, procurement, and freedom of information law), primarily related to research, commercial, and intellectual property matters.
What you'll need to succeed Have obtained a law degree. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in providing legal advice on commercial agreements and Intellectual Property matters. Experience in providing legal advice on GDPR and data protection law. Experience of drafting commercial agreements and of contract negotiation. A proven track record of effective verbal and written communication skills to Senior Management in a complex organisation, including liaising with non-legal stakeholders, which has led to positive business outcomes.
What you'll get in return £21.99 per hour. Temporary for up to 3 months. Full-time hours. East Belfast location.
