Key Responsibilities of English Teacher: Plan and deliver engagingEnglishlessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged. Teach English lessons to students inKey Stage 3(Ages 11-14)andKey Stage 4 (Ages 14-16). Organize and supervise extracurricular English activities and events, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject. Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance the English curriculum and support student development. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate. Promote health and safety in all activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices. Requirements of English Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent. Experience inteaching Englishis essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in English. Commitment to promoting a love for literature and a curiosity about the world of language. Relevant qualifications or training in English education (desirable but not essential).
