Working at Leicester You will join a large centre that provides the Prosthetics, Orthotics and Wheelchair services for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The centre is located close to the M69 & M1 motorways with ample free on-site parking. In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, we also offer the opportunity to get involved with a number of community engagement opportunities; providing support to various local organisations and institutions. We have a busy staff social programme, organised by our social committee with a calendar of events to get involved with, planned throughout the year. We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator who is looking for an opportunity to be develop their career and be a part of our large and dynamic team in Leicester. The successful applicant will support the end to end service delivery requirements for our patients including speedy and accurate response to referral and appointment management, order processing, support of clinicians within the service, reception and administration duties, ensuring accuracy of information and maintenance of department systems and processes. Responsibilities: Some of the key responsibilities the role holder will have responsibility for: Receiving and making telephone calls, both to patients and healthcare professionals Making appointments in accordance with priority/KPI’s, changing appointments and monitoring clinic capacity, highlighting any issues/potential breaches to the Administration Manager Managing Opcare reception mailboxes, responding to emails in a timely and professional manner Responsible for monitoring and progressing orthotic orders and stock reviews for purchasing Processing orthotic and prosthetic referrals (patient/supply/ward) received via email/e-referral on REHAPP Handling patient and confidential information with adherence to Data Security policies The role will be instrumental in helping to develop and implement service improvements for the betterment of patients in Location. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team, and be supported with local, regional, and national training to develop their clinical skills to support the service. We aim to deliver a first-class service for users whilst applying the most advanced and exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients.
