Willing to work days, nights and weekends across three different sites: Birmingham, Swadlincote & Atherstone. Driver's license and access to their own vehicle (No reliance on public transport). The site is ever evolving, so a degree of flexibility is needed. Key Responsibilities:
Site access/egress control Assisting and booking in site visitors Vehicle searching Vehicle booking in/out Control of vehicular and pedestrian movement Fault reporting Directing drivers and visitors around site CCTV monitoring Liaise with key personnel on site Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Security industry experience is preferred but not essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language are essential. A good understanding of computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook). Valid and in date SIA license (Close Protection, Door Supervisor, Security Guarding). Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Physical Requirements:
Security officers are required to work up to 12 hours per shift. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the site security procedures, assignment instructions, and risk assessments. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance in line with the designated shift requirement set out by CSS management. Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
